Animal Success Stories

Happy Tails are the heartwarming stories of our rescued cats and kittens in their new homes. We hope you enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoy hearing from our adoptiove homes. This is the part that makes everything we do worth doing ...

Indie
Indie

Indie and his companion Kyler (now known as Tyler) are settling into their new home quite nicely. Their new mother writes that she is absolutely thrilled to have them. She is very impressed with the foster care they received and says she can tell it was good because the kitties are happy, energetic, smart, curious, outgoing and well adjusted. They love to play with their toys, but seem to understand that not everything is a toy. They like sharing their toys with people too. And the three of them (mom & kitties) are learning various games. When it is time to sleep, the kitties either sleep or entertain themselves. They get to explore a little more of the house each day, and are taking everything in stride - they seem happy to be confined for now to a smaller area (bedroom and bath) when they are alone. They both seem to be in good spirits and pleasant temperament all the time. They are very well matched. Their personalities mix well.

Here is a new photo of the boys sleeping side by side!

Ivan
Ivan

Ivan is doing very well! He adjusted quickly to his new surroundings and has been running around the house since he got home. His new family reports that he is turning out to be a very sweet cat. They sent a photo (here) of Ivan... he was quite proud of himself having ripped the toy off the top of his scratching post!

Itsy
Itsy

Itsy demands a lot of attention. She instigates trouble daily! She is her adopter's little "skinny Minnie" as she weighed in at about 7lbs last month. She eats well, but is constantly on the go. She has recently learned that she can jump on the counter, up onto the fridge, and on to the cabinets above those. She also bolstered Bitsy into this feat last night too! Itsy is the loving cuddler much to her adopter's surprise. She is the closest one to the adopter at night, whereas her sister will sleep on the pillow next to them.

Iris
Iris

Iris' parents James and Rachel are so happy they have adopted Iris. She is so cuddly and loves attention. Iris has also been nicknamed "House Tiger" She enjoys playing games and even plays fetch. We could not be happier with our newest family member! Thank you for a wonderful kitten and an easy and helpful adoption process. Rach
