Animal Success Stories

Happy Tails are the heartwarming stories of our rescued cats and kittens in their new homes. We hope you enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoy hearing from our adoptiove homes. This is the part that makes everything we do worth doing ...

Henry
Henry

Henry's furr-ever home sent us an updated photo. He is acting cute and silly. This magnificent Maine Coon cat is busy bringing joy to his family.

Hope nka Pixel

It's only been a month since Pixel was adopted! But her family feels like she's been there much longer. She very quickly made their little apartment her home.

Pixel loves sitting on the windowsil and watching what's going on outside. She's very curious and must inspect everything they bring home. She loves chasing her cat toys (and sometimes not cat toys) around the floor, especially if they make noise. And, her favorite place to fall asleep is either on their shoulders or neck/face and she loves grooming their face at night while grooming herself (she's not the best and when it comes to personal space).

Pixel does still try to jump on their counters, but she is starting to know better. She quickly jumps off the counter as soon as she knows she got caught!

Avery (Pixel's new older brother cat) is getting used to sharing, and her family often finds the two cats grooming each other or chasing each other around the apartment. Avery still will occasionally overstep Pixel's boundaries, at which point she'll swat at him and run away.

All in all, her family writes that they are fully in love with her and her little quirks and are excited to watch her grow up. They sent some photos of Pixel in her Easter best (noting, however, that the finery didn't stay on too long)!

Hermey

Hermey fits right in at his new home. They love him. He has favorite toys and even a favorite rug to play on. Play, cuddle, play, cuddle - the new routine! This photo shows him with his rug (a little mussed from play) and his favorite blue fish on a string ; -)

Helen Hemingway

... late valentine's surprise -two Hemingway kittens - brother Molo and sister Helen.  The kittens came out of the crate  when the door was opened after about 20 minutes and then took ownership of the house in 2 minutes. A sad home became happy in 2 seconds.

Holland
Holland

The family who adopted Holland sent us an update on him. They have renamed him "Jax". They want us to know that he's doing great! He plays and explores during the day and then loves cuddles at night! He purrs and gives his new family kisses and is really the sweetest kitten his new mom has ever met! This is a photo of Jax with the kids who are in love with him.
