Animal Success Stories

Happy Tails are the heartwarming stories of our rescued cats and kittens in their new homes. We hope you enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoy hearing from our adoptiove homes. This is the part that makes everything we do worth doing ...

Godzilla

We pulled him from OCAS on 5/15/2016 - He was adopted 5/28/2016 - and this is a photo of him today. Beautiful happy cat :-)

Graydon

Graydon's mom (Melisa) sent us some recent photos :-) Graydon was adopted almost 7 years ago, in October 2010. He was only three months old when they took him home. He is now a grown, handsome 6 year old getting ready to celebrate his 7th on Independence Day! His family has always told him the fireworks were going off just for him! According to his family, Graydon still loved cuddling and hanging out at the house. He has gotten really vocal when it's treat time too. He will sit and stare at you and meow until he gets his treats! He loves swatting at Easter eggs, running around the house, and enjoys sleeping under tables. One of his favorite games is hide and "sneak." He definitely knows how to use his cat instincts. They tell us that Graydon is such a wonderful cat, and they look forward to many more years with him in their family.

Glorya
Glorya

Glorya found her furrever dad yesterday (9-13-2014)! She has a companion kitten in her new home and they are already best friends. Congratulations to the whole family!

Gabriel nka Fear
Gabriel nka Fear

Gabriel (nka Fear) and Willow4 (nka Factor) are a team. Their adoptive mom reports that they are great! They remain incredibly playful and friendly even though they are fully grown. We love them and they are happy.

Greto nka Sammy
Greto nka Sammy

Greto's original name is a modification of "Greta" which he was given because the foster family originally thought he was a girl when he was rescued (he was already neutered and still young and looked feminine). Now Greto has a new family and a new masculine name "Sammy."

His new family reports that Sammy had a terrible bout of being homesick when he first moved to their home, but that he is now doing nicely. He perked up after 3 days of moping and adjusted quite well to his new home. He likes to jump up in the lap to get attention and cuddle time, but then is content to lay by their feet. The new family enjoys his company very much.
