Aidan P

Aidan & Bogie : Thank you for the wonderful additions to our family! The kids enjoy the boys more than we ever imagined . They are the most gentle boys, never scratching or biting even when playing rough. I think this goes back to how they were handled as babies by their foster parents. I'm glad we were able to keep the brothers together as well, they take good care of each other. I'm grateful for all your hard work and want you to know how happy we are , kids and kittens!

Alice

Alice is doing great at her new home. She has started exploring the house and making friends with the resident cat. Right now they just follow each other around but we are predicting they will become good friends.

Anya nka Myrna Loy
Anya nka Myrna Loy

Anya is doing well in her new home. She has a new name, Myrna Loy, that she loves and she is spoiled rotten with toys and scratching posts and treats and all that jazz. She also has a big fluffy bed to sleep in.

Myrna Loy loves her new mom. She waits by the door for her to come home from school every day, and is adored and spoiled by her mom's study groupl. everyone loves her.

Myrna Loy's mom says she is a big cuddle buddy at night. She is excited about her growing up to be a big lazy cat but for now she is enjoying Myrna Loy as an adorable energetic kitten :)

Anna Lee nka Kaylie
Anna Lee nka Kaylie

Anna Lee is one very lucky cat. She found a new mom who is the perfect match for this little kitten - a wonderful lady who has lots of patience and love. This is her story:

"The first night was a bit rough for Kaylie - she hid behind the dresser and meowed (cried) all night long. The next morning, I had to move the heavy dresser to get to her. Kaylie was afraid but she let me pick her up. I immediately put her in the bathroom which is a smaller space and less stressful for her. I put all all her stuff in with her and then stayed and played with her".

"Kaylie warmed up to me rather quickly since she didn't have a place to hide other than her box bed. By mid-day on Sunday, she was purring, rubbing my face and rolling on her back for me to rub her tummy. She also loves all her toys and she started to eat and drink. We spent two days in the bathroom and I even slept with her so she would bond with me".

"Today, I introduced Kaylie to the bedroom again and she is worn out from exploring. She's been racing around, is playing with all her toys, scratching her posts, and has found a nice warm spot behind my desk to sleep (since I'm on the computer most of the day)".

"Kaylie is a beautiful kitten! Her colors, markings and personality are exactly what I've been looking for. I didn't know that cats like water, but Kaylie loves dripping water. She will wet her paws and drink from the faucet. Now every time I go to the sink she wants to play. Kaylie is also fascinated by mirrors".

Artemis2 nka Ivey
Artemis2 nka Ivey

Her new family reports that they love Artemis! They renamed her Ivey, after a special place in the Everglades. She is set up in their den for a slow introduction to the house and other cats. Her family knows it is important to make her feel secure and she can venture out when she is ready.

Update: Here is Ivey (Artemis 2) with her stocking and toy from Santa. She has adjusted quickly. Her best cat friend is 1 1/2 year old Java, an orphan her family rescued and bottle fed last year. Java is thrilled to have a fun kitten to play with. They are tight. But best of all, Ivey loves people, and always sticks close by to get involved. She is as cute as cute gets..

Update March 2010: Now 7 months old, Ivey's allowed to watch birds and squirrels on the screened porch. As you can see, she loves it. Isn't she beautiful?!!! Ivey's family thinks she is one of the BEST cats ever because she is fiesty, active, lovable - and super social to people and the other cats in her home.
