If you love cats - we need your help!

It's All About the Cats, Inc. (IAATCI) is a non-profit organization founded in January 2005. Our mission is to reduce the feral and homeless feline population by rescuing, fostering, and placing cats and kittens in suitable homes.

Things You Can Do to Help !

ADOPT: If you are looking for a new family member, please consider adopting one of our rescued cats or kittens. For more information on adoption, please see our Adoption Information

VOLUNTEER: If you have a little spare time, please consider volunteering. As little as one hour per week can make a difference in a homeless cat's life. We need volunteers for a wide variety of activities - some of which do not require direct contact with cats for those who may be allergic. For more information about our volunteer opportunities please visit our Volunteering page.

FOSTER: If you are a dedicated cat lover with space in your home and a desire to make a huge difference in the life of homeless cats and kittens, please consider fostering. IAATCI is always looking for foster homes to provide temporary room and board to rescued cats and kittens. For more information about fostering, please call our voicemail system at 407-401-8630 and select option number 7. Leave your name and phone number at the prompt. One of our board members will contact you to explain the program.

IAATCI does not have a shelter - we rely on foster homes. The capacity in our foster homes is severely limited at all times.

Therefore, we cannot accept cats and kittens from the general public.

DONATE: If you already have enough cats and are too busy to volunteer, please consider making a donation. IAATCI is a non-profit organization, approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charity. We are registered with the State of Florida Division of Consumer Services to solicit donations. Monetary donations are always appreciated; however, you can also help us by donating supplies or fundraising items.

In addition, IAATCI has partnered with a variety of online shopping sites that donate a portion of their proceeds to our cause. Please visit our shopping links and support us by purchasing items from one of these online stores.

Because you are here, we know you care about the unwanted felines in this world. Thank you.

FOSTERING

Our organization does not have a shelter. All of our ongoing foster homes are continually at capacity and there are many cats that we are forced to turn away because of a lack of space. If you have the space in your home and your heart, won't you please help us to help them by becoming a foster parent to a cat or kitten? For more information on volunteering to become an onging fostering home, please call 407-401-8630 and leave a message in mailbox number 5.

If you have a cat or kitten that you have rescued, or if you have a pet cat or kitten that you can no longer keep, we will work with you to find a new home for this animal. However, you must be prepared to serve as a temporary foster home during the period of time that we are helping you. We have a fairly good success rate at finding homes, but there is no guarantee as to how long the process might take. For more information on becoming a temporary foster home, please click on this link.

DONATIONS

Every penny we recieve in donations goes into the rescue of unwanted, abandoned, orphaned felines, we have no hired staff and no corporate overhead. That being said, we continually need your financial support. Cost of care for one foster cat starts at a minimum of $50.00 for a female and $40.00 for a male but often our vet bills run into the hundreds of dollars. Consider this, one trip to the vet will start at $35.00 without even looking at treating whatever took the cat there to begin with; one trip to the emergency vet starts at $85.00 again that does not cover any diagnostics, tests or treatments.
