Meridith
Meridith

Meridith is a very beautiful, bright tortoiseshell (a kind of calico) cat, with short thick fur and golden green eyes. She is very sweet and playful, loves running around to play chase with other kittens, and pouncing on toy mice.

Meridith was born in a shed where a feral cat had hidden to give birth to her babies. This is not a good location for baby kittens and Meredith had a severe upper respiratory infection (URI) when we rescued her. In fact, all the other kittens in her litter were so sick that Meridith is the only one who lived. She was a little fighter and was determined to survive ... but she ended up with permanent scarring on her eyes.

Enter her new family! They were looking for a loving cat to be a companion to their cat Simon who was previously adopted through our program. And they were willing to accept Meredith with slightly imperfect eyes. A match made in heaven.

As you can see from this photo and the ones on Meridith's homepage (click on her name), the two kitties are now great friends ... and they even let the family dog join in the fun.

Wambley nka Ellie
Wambley nka Ellie

Ellie used to be called Wambley when she was a kitten. Now that she has a fur-ever home, she has a new name to go along with it. Her new name, Ellie, is as beautiful and elegant as she is.

Ellie sent us this recent photo taken with her new best friend, Panther. They love each other are are very happy to lay around after a hard day of play.

Click on Ellie's name to see her homepage with more photos from when she was a baby.

Tiana nka Mia
Tiana nka Mia

Tiana Mia is doing very well in her new home. She loved the Christmas tree during the holidays and now feels this cold weather is perfect for taking a nap or snuggling with her older sister Macy. This photo, sent by her mom, shows her relaxed attitude. Please click on her name to go to her webpage for more photos, including one with her sister Macy.

EddieM
EddieM

Eddie was adopted in May 2009 and his family just loves him. They sent us a lot of photos to add to his webpage, so click on his name and then scroll to the bottom of his webpage to see them all.

There are a couple recent photos, a few from Fall 2009, and we also left the photos from when he was a baby so that you can see how big he has grown. His recent photos show him at 13.5 lbs and he is only 10 months old. This will be one big cat.

Valor nka Buddy
Valor nka Buddy

Buddy was adopted in May 2009 and was still a very small kitten at that time. Fast Forward to Christmas 2009. Here he is with some of his toys, just before taking a nap.

For more updated photos, including Buddy with his stocking and some more toys, click on his name to go to his webpage. Note that his family had to put the tree outside, on their sun porch, to save the tree and ornaments from the little monster! They report that he still has his leaping ability, and is very playful.
